My designs : Liverpool FC fantasy kit.

So, i finally finished my  Liverpool FC fantasy kit and i must say i'm very happy with it , especially the home kit. My initial design was a bit different , but when i read on twitter that LFC is or will be celebrating soon , 50 years since they first played in an all red kit , i knew mine will be 2 things : classy looking and as red as possible.
When it comes to classy , for me at least , less is more , so no unnecessary design elements will be featured on this kit. Only some diagonal thin stripes on the shirt , short and socks , with  a slightly  darker shade of red ,than the rest of the kit. And because i wanted it to be  truly and  completely red i even took out a feature LFC fans love so much , the white v-neck collar and replaced it with a red  one.

In this detailed photo of the shirt , you can see a small badge ( inside the collar) i've created that says "50 years in all red".

For the away uniform , i chose the 1995-96 kit as my inspiration. Some major differences between the two designs:
- I made the short and socks black , i think it looks better that way,
- I kept the green and white harlequin combo on the back of the shirt as well ( the 95-96 one had an all white back).
- A black line runs on the side of the shirt , break up the green and white pattern.

Some other design features : LFC's iconic  logo  on the back of the shirt , just above the player's name and , inside of the collar , the top ornament of the Shankly Gates , with the famous words " You'll never walk alone".
The Shankly Gates also serve as a background for all my designs.

I hope you guys like it!!!
Cheers !!!
