News: Two new weird uniforms by Adidas...

And by weird i mean un-characteristic . Some guys appreciate innovation , i'm more of a traditional guy when it come to sport kits.
First one is a alternate kit for the Boston Celtics NBA team , a kit Adidas named "Parquet Pride" , because on the side it features a pattern that mimics the wooden floor of Celtics'  TD Garden. Don't get me wrong, the uniform looks ok , it's a nice design , but why silver? The Celtics have four official colours : white ( home kit) green ( away kit)  , black (used mainly on a third kit ) and gold ( used on St Patrick alternate kit).
Somehow i don't feel the 5th colour was necessary here .
So...mixed feelings here. I love the C's , they're my favourite NBA team , i like the design overall, i just don't get the silver/grey.

p.s. The last few days i've been working on my own Celtics alternate , more "in touch" with the style and the Celtics tradition. I'm hoping it will turn out great , because , like i said, the C's are my favourite NBA team.

And a video

The other kit i want to talk about is France's new rugby kit. Also mixed feelings here...the design looks really nice, the patterns on the sleeves are a tribute to another french kit from the 90's , but the light blue shirt with navy shorts is a big break from tradition. Another thing i don't get is their marketing strategy, the #allbleus slogan. Wasn't there another identity they could find for a huge rugby nation like France?
  Anyways, here are some pictures.

I will be back in a few days with my Celtics' kit. Cheers !!!
